Meet Disney Gal Tricia


Greetings from New Jersey!


My name is Tricia and I live just outside Ocean City in southern NJ with my husband Scott and beautiful daughter Makena. I am a self-proclaimed Disney groupie but I am also a full time Detective in Cape May County, NJ so I like to joke that my investigative mode never gets a rest because when I’m not investigating criminals, I’m investigating Disney.

My family and I travel to Walt Disney World at least two times per year and we and I were so confident that we would be coming back so much once our daughter was born that we decided to become DVC members in 2009 and haven’t looked back since. We have stayed at nearly every resort in WDW and have a wide range of experience that I would love to share.

I am almost constantly planning the next two future Disney trips at any given time which has earned me quite a little reputation among my friends and family. I have helped numerous families plan their vacations as well and absolutely LOVE doing it! Planning vacations requires me to research and learn as much as possible about my favorite place in the world so it’s almost an honor when someone asks me for help. From resort recommendations, to transportation issues, to park information, to dining questions, I have made it my second job to know everything there is to know about Disney and if I don’t know I get to find it out!!

A few years ago I created my first bucket list and I’m happy to say that I can finally check off my first item, which was to start a Disney-inspired blog. The “Disney Gals” blog is made up of a fabulous group of girls (if I may say so myself) that are from all over the country and have meet through the Mickey Mom’s Club all with a desire to start a blog and no clue how to do it. In fact, we started out by calling ourselves “The Last Gals in the World Not to Have a Disney Blog” because it seemed like everyone had one but us.

Well not anymore! The Disney Gals all are so incredibly excited to share our experiences, opinions, and love for all things Disney so I hope you love it as much as we love creating it! Enjoy.
