Wordless Wednesday - August Calendar Shot

Good Morning Disney Fans and Happy August! The Disney Gals have decided to join the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop where we will be sharing our Disney related photos within the theme of the week...so here we go! This week's theme is Your August Calendar Shot. Special thanks goes out to Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this weekly series.

Tricia: When I think of August, one song comes to mind Feeling HOT HOT HOT. So what says that better than nakedness and melted ice cream from Auntie Gravity's!

Hong Kong Disneyland
Lori Hope- When I think of August, I think of my Father-in Law's birthday and his favorite hot weather snack: Mickey premium bars. Where is your favorite place to enjoy one?
Disney's Animal Kingdom

Judy:  When I think of August I think of the summer rains in Florida
that come and go.  When it does, that it's your chance to get on those
attractions that are always busy as the parks tend to empty when it rains.

Gayle: For me August marks the end of another Summer Vacation and back to school with my wonderful kindergarten students and families!  Do I have the best job in the universe or what? I get paid to get their Disney education off to a first rate start and make sure they all know it's never to early to believe in your dreams. For me, teaching is the epitome of one of Walt Disney's most famous quotes:
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." My classroom is where I can teach students to believe in the possibilities....live the dream!

Kelly: In our family, August is the month we can all be together on a Disney Cruise. After a day of fun in the sun, what better way to relax than taking advantage of the All You Can Eat soft serve ice cream at Eye Scream.

  11. Mmmm...ice cream! Now THAT's what August is all about. I'd love to know how the ice cream that the boy on the left is holding in Kelly's picture is actually staying on the cone. That's the funkiest looking ice cream that I've ever seen!

    1. He was banned from making cones after that, (by our family, not Disney) but it gave us a good laugh.

    2. Haha! I hadn't noticed that. That IS pretty funky but it all tastes the same in the end! :)
