So Much Happened During Disney Gals Weekend that we have decided to put together a few Roll Call posts where each Gal will post some of her favorite pictures and memories of the Events. Today, we're going to start with
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
Tricia: I've attended many MNSSHP's in my day but there is still a first for everything. This time it was adults-only and it was fabulous! The night started with a lovely dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant with fellow Disney Gal Heather and Disney Divas Dawn and Colleen.
We were also fortunate enough to meet up with Disney Gal Gayle and her lovely family for a memorable photo with all seven dwarfs!!
We found a nice spot right in front of the castle to watch Happy HalloWishes!!
After a yummy Dole Whip we found a great spot across the street from the Diamond Horseshoe to watch my favorite parade "Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade.
Kim: We arrived "fashionably" late to the party without our costumes (but not without my "witch ears") and without a camera (I did get one photo with my cell phone), but that didn't stop the fun! We arrived just in time for Happy Hallowishes, watching it as we made our way down Main Street. So fabulous! We then rode some rides (my son couldn't miss Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin) and headed over to Frontierland to watch the parade. After that, we focused on CANDY!!! The two treat trails were great. I really enjoyed the one the stretched from the New Fantasyland to Tomorrowland; viewing the Alice in Wonderland cutouts made me wish I'd dressed as the Queen of Hearts.
Gayle: Note to self, when picking out a costume for WDW in Orlando, and not Disneyland in California, although the Cheshire Cat may look adorable in the picture, and go perfectly with your son's Mad Hatter look, heavy pink fleece blanket sleepers and 85 degree weather with 100% humidity do not make for a happy mix but hey, we were in the Magic Kingdom at the MNSSHP so nothing else mattered-right?
We were literally the little kids in the candy store-more amazed and in awe of everyone and everything! For Zack it was all about the
characters-finding them, getting autographs, getting
pictures and creating those memories that would
stay with us for a lifetime! It was about being able
to pose with ALL 7 Dwarfs as well as with fellow Disney Gals Heather and Tricia.
It was about actually finding Jane and Terk even though Tarzan had to
go on a banana break. It was about seeing and meeting Villains up close and personal-all of them and then of course, there was the parade and fireworks to end an evening that was perfectly perfect in every way! So although I have now learned to perhaps think through my costume choices and match them to the expected weather, I have to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you Disney for once again making me feel like a kid again!
Love all the photos, sorry we missed it!! Looks like you all had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI think you looked really cute Gayle, just sorry you were hot in the outfit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time! The Mad Hatter looks so awesome...and so does the over-heated Cheshire Cat. What a fun post to read.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos Gals! Thank you for taking so many of us along on this journey, even though we could not be there. Your costumes are wonderful and your stories memorable :-)
